State-of-the-Art Resources and Techniques

Our advanced facilities and state-of-the-art techniques help us to provide optimal care for your animal.

Some new technologies, such as video endocopy and otoscopy, digital imaging and digital ultrasound help to diagnose symptoms with the least discomfort to your pet.

Often, these diagnostic procedures will eliminate the need for more costly and invasive procedures. Below are descriptions of our specialized techniques and resources:

Complete In-House Laboratory
We maintain a full service in-house lab used for analyzing fluid samples. By performing lab services in our facility, we can obtain the results of tests as quickly as possible to the benefit or your pet.

Pharmacy
We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals and vitamins to treat common problems, such as fleas, heartworm, skin and allergy problems, and arthritis.   We also carry nutritional products suitable for your individual pet's needs.

High Frequency X-ray
Our on-site high frequency X-ray equipment produces the highest quality radiographs, allowing our doctors to see fine detail and detect subtle changes.

Video Otoscopy, Bronchoscopy and Endoscopy
Otoscopes, bronchoscopy endoscopes are instruments that allow the vet to view or manipulate internal structures. Endoscopes are typically used in the abdomen, bronchoscopes in the airways, and otoscopes are used for the ears.

Your vet inserts a small instrument or fiber optic camera into the area of concern to make a diagnosis or to obtain tissue samples.   Compared with surgical methods, this procedure reduces post-operative pain and allows for a faster recovery for your pet.

Digital Ultrasound
Fully digital ultrasound provides high quality, non-invasive imaging of the abdomen and chest.   Many diseases can be diagnosed using ultrasound, such as pancreatitis, heart disease, kidney infection, and inflammatory bowel disease.
